Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Gridpass (“the Service”), operated by Gridpass (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gridpass is an AI-powered resume analysis tool that helps job seekers evaluate how well their resumes match job descriptions using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) criteria. The Service provides compatibility scores, keyword analysis, formatting feedback, and improvement suggestions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Gridpass, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gridpass.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Gridpass offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

• Free tier: 3 resume analyses included with account creation.
• Pay-as-you-go: Additional scans purchased at listed rates. Credits do not expire.
• Pro subscription: Monthly or annual billing with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. After the trial, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you will retain full access to Pro features through the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel during your 7-day trial, you will not be charged.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Gridpass and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any resume content or data you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Pro users' resume data is encrypted end-to-end using AES-256-GCM with a unique key derived from your account. We are technically unable to read your stored resume data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will guarantee employment outcomes. Resume analysis is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute career or legal advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gridpass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your unique encryption key is permanently destroyed, making all stored resume data irrecoverable.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Louisiana.
